All too often, we fail to truly open our eyes and take in the beauty that is all around us. We forget to pay attention to the little (and big) visuals that inspire, sooth, motivate, and rejuvenate us.  We get caught in routines that dull our senses.  We become complacent about having fun.  We cultivate ambition, earning, working, and buying.  We always want more.

It’s time to check our drive for “more” and realize that more doesn’t equal better.  It’s time to stop focusing so much on tomorrow and make the most of today.  It’s time to simplify.  It’s time to turn it all off, block out the noise, and savor the moment.  Be amazed.  Find awe in everyday things.  Appreciate life.  Cultivate gratitude.  Soak…it…up.

I’m drawn to photography because I’m addicted to capturing all the sights and moments that make me feel alive.  Sharing them is just the icing on the cake.
