Bucket Lists

So everyone’s always asking, “What’s on your bucket list”?  As in, what are the top places and things you want to see/do before you die?  What a depressing question.  At first, I was a bit hesitant to visit Maccu Picchu due to its popularity on said lists.  Pops was all about doing a 4-day trek to the Old Mountain.  Uncle Mike was in too, so I jumped at the opportunity.  The trek was a blast; our fellow trekkers were from all over the world, our Peruvian guides were funny as hell, and the food was excellent.  The views were jaw-dropping and the trail lung-burning.  I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

But back to this Bucket List thing.  Can we please come up with another name?  How about: “Adventure Ideas” or “Exciting Travel Goals.”  I want a list things that are invigorating and awesome…not a bunch of stuff to give lip-service to and simply check off before I die.  Semantics, I suppose…..but I think you’re picking up what I’m putting down.

Check out the Inka Trail…….
