Two years for Less Is More Photography and I’m still enjoying it. 150 posts and over 20,000 views. I still feel that simplicity is the way to go. Taking time to “soak it up” is essential in our busy lives. I feel extra lucky to live in such a beautiful place that offers amazing vistas, sights, and activities; all of which inspire me to shoot more. Additionally, documenting my work travels through photos has been really fun. It seems like the trips just keep stacking up, one after the next, and if I didn’t take any pictures, I highly doubt I’d be able to remember just how rich the experiences were. Thanks for stopping in on my little blog and keeping up with me. Hopefully, the photos and captions give you a chuckle or two.
It’s an exciting time for me. I’ve been absolutely loving life as an Air Force Reservist; with lots of down-time to unwind, ski, and have fun. I’m excited for the next chapter with Delta that starts in a few short weeks. Who knows what kind of adventures and experiences will be had.
I just went on an awesome trip with Lt Col Jeff Whiteman. He’s been flying the KC10 for 22 years now and this was his last trip before retirement. It was great hearing his stories about the Air Force and his experiences as a pilot. Not to stroke his ego too much, but he also had some really nice landings. I’ve been flying the KC10 for 10 years, and could relate to Whitey on just what a big role flying the ’10 has played in his life. I think it’s fitting that this post showcases how aesthetic Big Sexy (and aviation in general) can be.
