The season in Tahoe has been incredibly disappointing so far….and it was starting to affect my psyche. Nothing a little road trip can’t fix. The 9 hour drive across Nevada and back is starting to feel pretty routine. Got to ski with lots of great friends in Park City, Jackson Hole, and Snowbird. The snow was awesome and my legs paid the price.
It was great catching up with all the fellas at Jackson Hole. For the ones that couldn’t make it this year: get your sh*t together, Park City next year!
Rolled back down I-15 to Utah for one last day at Snowbird with my two favorite ski buddies, Jess and Alisha. The Wasatch had just gotten the biggest dump of the year and everything lined up for a perfect day on the hill. It’s days like that that make me realize why I love skiing. Being in the mountains with good friends. Getting fresh turns. Skiing till your legs fall off. Laughing like crazy. And just enjoying being alive and healthy. It really doesn’t get much better.
So good ending the trip on a high note. Every time I leave Utah, I can’t wait to get back.
