Met up with the Eidsons and their friend Ryan for a hike in Big Sur.  Eleven miles of dusty trail took us to Sykes hot springs.  The springs collect in a few different soaking pools which were perfect for aching muscles.

I saw a girl with an SLR taking pics of the river and made a comment about how her dumb shots of the water would be crappy.  I proceeded to do the same and got made fun of myself.  I deserved it.

Redwood Camp three miles past Sykes is a magical place. Good to see you putting the pack on your back JH. Happy trails.
