Barfing From Beauty

Loaded up the 4Runner, hopped on I-80, and drove 650 miles across an edge-of-your-seat-landscape otherwise known as Nevada.  Destination: Zion…aka Deseret….aka Utah….aka home.  Utah has captivated me my whole life;  I’ve loved it through every phase.  So many memories there; which is why it’s so awesome to keep making new ones.  So good seeing family and keeping those relationships healthy.  Long time buddy TJ introduced me to mtn biking… on a trail system we used to ride 4-wheelers on as kids.  Alisha took me paddle boarding on a lake in the Uintas my Uncle used to take us camping at during summer trips out West.  Then she blew my mind (and my left ventricle) on a couple bike rides that zig-zagged up and down through Park City Mountain Resort.  Mountain biking is a whole new world I can’t wait to explore….scary as hell too.  No matter where I was or what the activity, I was surrounded by beauty.  The inside joke of the trip was “So beautiful I wanna barf!”.
